Official Grand Opening in Dundalk, IrelandRSS

In September, it was time for the official opening of the Hydroscand branch in Dundalk, Ireland.
Branch Manager Patricia Gorman and Hydroscand CEO Björn Holmström gave invited guests a tour of the facility.
Minister of State Fergus O´Dowd performed the official cutting of the ribbon.
Local TD Peter Fitzpatrick, Chamber of Commerce president Paddy Malone and
Town Centre Commercial Manager Andrew Mawhinney were also present this day.

This is Hydroscands first step into the Irish market, according to branch manager Patricia Gorman.
She said: “This is hopefully the start of a growing business in Dundalk and one that has created real jobs.
It is our hope that we will continue to service existing customers and it is hoped that we will open a trade centre here in Dundalk
so people can come and buy our products for themselves.

The workforce has already grown from four employees to 18. Company general manager Bob Rolfe is hopeful
that the number will continue to grow in years ahead. He said: “We´ve 18 people employed here now
and we´re hopeful of expanding that. We´re actively looking for more business in Ireland at the moment”.
