Hydroscand high pressure hoses

We can offer a wide assortment of high pressure hoses for applications ranging from normal to extreme pressure. The hoses are primarily designed for hydraulics, but are also suited for other applications, like paint spray, high pressure cleaning and gas conduits. Beside Hydraulic hoses in rubber, we can even offer Thermoplastic and Teflon hoses. Working pressure: up to 1000 bar!

 Special hoses programme     The CO-programme

Steel wire braided rubber hose

Up to three braided steel wire inlays
· Temperature spectrum from –55°C to +155°C.
· Great variation of outer tubes and hose covers.
· Working pressure up to 47,0 Mpa.
This is a very flexible type of hose that fits most hydraulic applications.

Spiral rubber hose
Up to six spiral steel inlays.
· Temperature spectrum from –40°C to +121°C.
· Great variation of outer tubes and hose covers.
· Working pressure up to 50,0 Mpa.
This type of hose is adapted to applications when very high pressure is combined with high impulsions.

Termoplast hose
· Great variation of armoring types.
· Temperature spectrum from –40°C to +100°C.
· Hose covers with good abrasion properties.
· Working pressure up to 80,0 Mpa.
This type of hose has a superior flexibility across the whole temperature spectrum, as well as low volume expansion, which gives it a good hydraulic time response.

P.T.F.E.
· Great variation of armoring types.
· Temperature spectrum from –70°C to +260°C.
· Extreme low abrasion.
· Working pressure up to 19,8 Mpa.
· Flame resistant.
The tight molecular structure of this type of hose gives a superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals. Combining superior “non-stick” properties and a wide temperature spectrum, hoses manufactured in P.T.F.E. are the perfect problem solver for most of the aggressive applications.

Hydroscand offers even solutions for hoses used under extreme conditions like cold and extreme abrasion. Several of our hoses are MSHA and M.E.D. certified.

Hydroscand CrossOver - for the needs of today and tomorrow!

Hydroscand's CrossOver hoses are a new generation of hydraulic hoses to meet the abrasion and UV radiation requirements of today and tomorrow. CO, an abbreviation of CrossOver, means that the hoses are adjusted to a wider range of usage than before, and with an emphasis on abrasion and ozone resistance. Most of the hoses are also flame resistant according to the latest demands.

Advantages with the CrossOver hoses
- The CO hoses exceed the demand for abrasion resistance in each standard.
- They have improved resistance towards UV radiation and therefore also less problems with cracks.
A thinner ozone layer around our planet creates larger hose problems!
- They are desined with very good bend characteristics with preserved pressure performance.
- Their powerfully improved life length gives shorter standstills and therefore lower costs!

THE CO-PROGRAMME

Egeflex 1 CO
A hose equivalent to EN 853 1SN for applications with medium/high pressures and much external abrasion. MSHA, DNV and MED certification guarantee that the hose can be used in many different areas.

Egeflex 2 CO
A hose equivalent to EN 853 2SN for normal working pressures and characteristics. MSHA, DNV and MED certification guarantee that the hose can be used in many different areas.

Kappaflex 2K CO
A compact-built hose with fitted measurements and tight bend radius that can handle higher pressures than EN 857 2SC. MSHA, DNV and MED certifications guarantee that the hose can be used in many different areas.

Deltaflex 4 CO
A braided hose with four layers that exceeds the demands for EN 856 4SP. High working pressure and very flexible. Has been certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

IsoBar 42 CO
A multi spiral hose with four, or alternatively six depending on dimension, spirals. The hose is designed for very extreme working pressures but still have the flexibility intact. MSHA, DNV and MED certification guarantee that the hose can be used in many different areas.

Our different types of special hoses:
CO = Type of hose for use under very tough conditions. Abrasion, ozone and flame resistant outer tube.
XA = Type of hose for use under extremely harsh conditions. Designed with an unsurpassable abrasion and ozone resistant polymer coating.
PO = Type of hose for use under arctic conditions. Extremely good flexibility across the whole temperature spectrum.
