Local waste management companies continue to provide vital services, with support from Hydroscand UK.
HoseExpress, the mobile hydraulic repair service operated by Hydroscand UK, continues to carry out vital repairs to waste management vehicles, allowing them to keep providing services that are crucial to the health of the country.
Recently a recycling company in Liverpool suffered a hydraulic breakdown to one of its machines. The company contacted Hydroscand UK and within 15 minutes the HoseExpress van was on-site and the machinery was repaired within 40 minutes.
Hydroscand has worked closely with this customer for three years and has been providing daily repair to its fleet of waste management machinery – getting them back up and running and reducing costly downtime.
Workers in the waste sector have received praise from the Environment Minister, Rebecca Pow. In an open letter, she gives thanks to those who are “… working behind the scenes in recycling centres, treatment plants, energy recovery centres and disposal sites despite all the challenges that Coronavirus brings.”
