Hydroscand UK expands its fleet to meet customer demand

Hydroscand UK has enjoyed tremendous growth in 2018 mainly due to the increase in mobile and OEM business. The UK hydraulic aftermarket is predominately mobile led and we have therefore taken the decision to significantly grow our fleet in 2018. Today our fleet of mobiles has more than doubled with plans to further double the fleet in 2019.

OEM’s are also a significant part of our customer mix. With Brexit looming and the outcome uncertain, ensuring we have the product to provide an uninterrupted service is paramount. Hydroscand has implemented robust plans to ensure we continue to support our customers with continuous, on time supply. Our Central Warehouse in Nottingham is full to the rafters with stock. Our policy is to hold a minimum of 6 months stock of all products sourced outside the UK should there be any delays with imports.

We all face uncertain political times, but one thing is certain, the sun will come up and customers will need supply. Our message is – don’t panic – we have a strategy for all eventualities.

With 50 years of trading under our belts, we’ve faced the good, the bad and the ugly. Whatever the outcome, our customer's needs will be met.
