Our internal processes, audits, measurements, and management systems are designed to ensure we meet, or exceed, our customers’ expectations on health & safety.
Health & Safety Certification
In 2022, we achieved certification to the standards of ISO 45001:2018 including all our branches. We felt it was important to demonstrate to our team members that we take their health & safety seriously. It is also increasingly important to have validation for our customers that operate to good health and safety standards.
Health & Safety Training
Hydroscand team members are trained both in-house and externally to industry standards.
Our in-house training covers a wide range of important health and safety matters from safe driving to manual handling.
Our choice of external training on hose assembly skills is recommended and approved by the British Fluid Power Association and focusses on how to work safely with hydraulic hoses and systems, including correct and safe working practices and the associated dangers of pressurised systems and fluid injection injuries.
