September was a busy month for Hydroscand, attending two face to face trade shows: Letsrecycle and Demolition Expo and Tip-Ex / Tank-Ex in the space of two weeks.
Some people are questioning the value of live events but after 18 months of virtual communication, the mood at both events was extremely positive. It was a valuable opportunity to share innovation, learn about these important industries and share good practice with genuinely interested people.
Hydroscand were showcasing their range of hose assembly machinery as well as products and solutions for the specific audiences. For example, at the Demo Expo we talked about demolition couplings, which have been specifically designed to reduce brinelling, which occurs in high vibration applications. Likewise at the Tip-Ex show we were able to talk about transport specific products, such as tipper couplings and “tiger-tails” for sewer jetting hoses.
Of course, at both events we explored ways to reduce expensive downtime with owners and managers of recycling facilities, fleets of plant and transport operators.
Rebecca Galley, Managing Director said: “We had a fantastic few days over the two trade shows. We met and enjoyed talking with customers, some of whom we hadn’t seen in person for 18 months, and it was brilliant to catch up with them.
“Also, we really appreciated talking to suppliers and making so many new connections. We had lots of great conversations about our machines, our hose and fittings and our mobile breakdown service.
“Thank you to everyone who made this a success, it was a brilliant team effort.”
