The children at Albany Junior School loved Hydroscand’s donation of new footballs

With the World Cup underway, and everyone focused on football, we were delighted to be able to support Albany Junior School again. This time we made a donation of new footballs for their new football team.

Back in November 2021, Hydroscand UK began to build community links with Albany Junior School in Nottingham.

Rebecca Galley, Managing Director and Aaron Goffin, Sales Manager, were invited to Albany Junior School, where Rebecca delivered an assembly to the children sharing ideas about careers and opportunities beyond education, particularly the local opportunities in manufacturing and engineering. Before they left, Rebecca and Aaron donated seven amazing hydraulics science kits for the children to experience and use within school.

Since then, we have continued to offer support where we can, including at Christmas and Easter.

Nigel Townsend, Product Manager and Manjinder Karwal, Digital Marketing Executive visited to the school, and saw how excited the football team was about the footballs.

Rebecca Galley, Managing Director said, “Hydroscand aims to contribute to the communities we work in, and we are delighted to be able to support the local school.”

Laura Goffin, Head Teacher said, “We have just set up a new school football team post pandemic now we can get the children out and about, so the footballs are ideal. Thank you so much for your continued support of the school.”
